Meet Harmony Project Pasadena Bass Player Audrey

Audrey’s journey with Harmony Project began in the first grade, starting as a young cellist before transitioning to the standing bass. Though the switch was challenging, she found encouragement and support from the Harmony Project team and its dedicated teaching artists, who not only honed her musical abilities but also helped her develop vital communication and leadership skills.

As the sole bass player in many of her ensembles, Audrey embraced the responsibility of leading others, a role that has taught her the importance of confidence and initiative. Performing, she says, provides her with the validation she needs to know she’s on the right path, and Harmony Project has been a nurturing environment where everyone is welcoming and supportive.

“I love having a space to unwind after having a bad day. Having a space like this is valuable,” articulated Audrey.

Outside of HP, Audrey has continued to explore music, and her ultimate dream is to perform in a professional setting. She credits Harmony Project with giving her the skills and encouragement to chase her goals, knowing she has the foundation to succeed.
