HP to Perform at Gloria Molina Grand Park

Los Angeles, CA - Harmony Project, LA’s largest music education organization dedicated exclusively to youth from low-income families and under-resourced communities, is proud to announce its upcoming performance at Gloria Molina Grand Park’s 4th of July Block Party, in honor of the 50th Anniversary of Hip Hop. Gloria Molina Grand Park’s 4th of July Block Party is downtown L.A.’s largest free Fourth of July Celebration. 

Harmony Project serves children year-round at no cost, providing them with access to music education and performance opportunities. The organization has partnered with Gloria Molina Grand Park - the park for everyone - to bring this exciting event to the Los Angeles community.

The 50th Anniversary of Hip Hop is a momentous occasion, and Harmony Project is thrilled to be a part of the celebration. The performance at Gloria Molina Grand Park will feature talented young musicians from Harmony Project, showcasing their skills and passion for the artistry of music. The event promises to be a fun and engaging experience for all who attend.

"We are honored to collaborate with Grand Park - powered by The Music Center and located in the heart of Downtown L.A.’s cultural and civic center - and be a part of this event to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Hip Hop," said Natalie Jackson, Executive Director of Harmony Project. "Our students have been working hard to prepare for this performance, and we can't wait to share their talent and enthusiasm with the community."

Harmony Project’s performance will take place from 4:25 - 5:10 pm at Block 4 - Gloria Molina Grand Park’s Event Lawn next to City Hall, between Broadway and Spring Street (200 N. Gates to Gloria Molina Grand Park open at 4:00 p.m. Attendees may access the park’s grounds through four specially marked entrances: 

  • Olive and 1st Streets 

  • Hill and Temple Streets 

  • Main and 1st Streets 

  • Hill and 1st Streets
