Celebrating our 2024 Graduates!

June 1, 2024 - Harmony Project celebrated a momentous occasion – the graduation of 82 incredible high school seniors! Their Harmony Project commencement ceremony, held at the Foshay Learning Center in South Los Angeles, was a beautiful culmination of years of dedication and hard work.

The ceremony overflowed with inspiration and hope. Our very own Honors Orchestra set the tone with stirring performances of “Nessun Dorma” from Puccini (Movement III) and Besame Mucho. Senior speakers Amirykal Hamilton (11 years with HP) and Andrew De La Pena (10 years with HP) shared their experiences and aspirations, while Chairman Emeritus Howard Banchik offered heartfelt remarks about the graduates' journeys and their readiness for the exciting chapters ahead.

“These graduates' journey with Harmony Project has been so much more than just notes and scales,” said Executive Director Natalie Jackson. “We’ve strived to provide these young artists with the tools and support they need to succeed, not just musically, but academically and personally as well.”

The ceremony was a testament to the life-changing power of music education. Joyful tears were shed by proud parents, families, and friends who witnessed these talented young musicians embark on their next adventures.

Above are a selection of colleges that the Class of 2024 Harmony Project are attending.

Congratulations to the Harmony Project Class of 2024! We are so honored to have been a part of your journeys and cannot wait to see all that you will accomplish!
